Female cardinal sitting on the metal roof of our bird feeder that we purchased last year in Wears Valley. Lots of activities in the trees but not much coming down to the feeders on a hot evening. We did see a Northern Flicker and it’s home in a neighboring tree.
We have many different breeds of woodpeckers at our feeders. This redheaded woodpecker decided to get funny by hanging on a wire before coming down to eat some seeds.
