Finally getting good shots of the Hummingbirds

September 10   This morning we put out food for our feeders and sat on the deck for just a few minutes before three hummingbirds came down to visit. I was able to get my new Canon 400mm L 5.6 on the tripod and took this shots before they traveled on. We had a great time at the Memphis Zoo over Labor Day Weekend. It was very hot in Memphis but we got lucky in that so many of the animals were active. This was our first trip to the Memphis Zoo and it was one of the best for types of animals (but ranked much lower for friendly staff, clean restrooms, and food). RC Moon Pie Festival Pictures
