Millions will be glued to the screen for the “American Idol” finale on Tuesday. But could finalist Phillip Phillips (pictured) be stuck watching from the hospital? Phillips, who’s set to sing against diminutive diva Jessica Sanchez, might be forced to quit the competition for emergency kidney surgery, according to TMZ. A longtime sufferer of kidney disease, Phillips had a stent put in earlier this season. And though his doctor wants him to head to the ER — stat — Phillips is so far insisting he’ll hold on for his final moment in the spotlight. -

This morning after dropping Jack off at school I went over the caboose to try and get a shot before the light got to hot during the day.

30 years ago the kindness of one woman changed the life of Steve Pemberton forever. The books that Mrs. Levin regularly gave this orphaned boy represented hope in a world of abuse and neglect. This is the first time they have seen each other since Steve left his foster home in New Beford, Mass never to return again. Since that day Steve has gone on to become the Chief Diversity Officer and Divisional Vice-President for Walgreens and is married with three children.
