This is the third year we have been able to and we encourage others to the same.

There is nothing more fun then going to a great soccer game and cheering on your country’s team.

Some my think that patriotism is dead, or that it’s only displayed on the Fourth of July.

Some only think America when the national anthem is played at a ball game.

Some only think you can be proud for America by supporting the troops.

Those people would be WRONG

I challenge you to go to a United States National Team Soccer match. That can be the National Women’s team or the Men’s Team.

There you will be surrounded by the most fanatical fans sports have…they are there to cheer on our team, America’s team…in a sport that is known world wide.

Tim Howard, our US goalkeeper, playing for his club Everton scores a 100 yard goal.

That’s amazing and yet he doesn’t even crack a smile.

Jack got his soccer top from TSA tonight and he was proud to have it.

He wanted to show it off and have his two best buddies Bailey and Willow in the pictures too.

Jack’s first soccer practice

Tullahoma Soccer Association

We had a good time tonight going to Jack’s first practice. The weather was hot as in 95 and the sun almost hurt it shone so bright.

Our little shy guy was unsure of all the other kids from the U5 group and he had a hard time participating with them when it was time to practice.

He warmed up a little with the U16 assistant coach as you can see in the pictures, but once they let them actually playing Jack just wasn’t ready to do that.

We go back in two weeks and continue every other week until October. We are hoping this will help Jack as he doesn’t have a problem playing with the kids at school or church.

Of course he was the cutest one out there.

Our first practice on this hot August day

Jack got to meet all 15 of the under 5 (U5) group and they split them up in groups of four as the assistant coaches helped teach them how to dribble, and run with the ball.

Our trip to the MNT versus Paraguay

We had a great time at the game Tuesday night.

The men’s national team was playing quarter finalists in the 2010 World Cup Paraguay.

The weather was cold about 50 and the on and off rain made it tough, but we enjoyed having the chance to see our national team play in Nashville.

The US lost 0 – 1 , but we still had a great time and can’t wait for the chance to see them again.
