Bird Shots using my new Blind
Today before the front moves in and the temperatures drop and the rain sweeps in, I tried out my new chair stand that is big enough to fit myself, tripod and camera (even Jack came in for a short visit).
The blind worked very well as the birds came and went and didn’t seem to mind the occasional shutter noise.
The blind is compact and can quickly be setup or taken down.
Here are the shots I took today.

Love the shot of the Cardinal. I counted 9 at my feeder today…along with the finches and chickadees. I also have lots of titmouse that visit and sometimes the Downy and Red Bellied Woodpeckers show up.
We only have one woodpecker that comes by and it's hard to be out there when he does come by, I'm looking forward to seeing what we will have come this Spring
Randy Pollock I have both a male and female downy and red bellied that sometimes show up. Last year I had a Flicker a couple of times. Red bellied was there this morning.
Laura Thorpe Casteel never seen a flicker, that would be cool…I want to find somewhere to see more predator birds any ideas?
Randy Pollock I am not really sure. Maybe Tiims Ford State Park??? You could maybe call out there and ask where a good place would be or Wildlife Management?
