Why your job is just a job

You may love your job, you may wake in the morning and get giddy at the idea of going to work…for the 3% of America that agrees with you well your very fortunate.

If you get up in the morning and think my job is ok at least 51% of the time then your like most of America.

The rest of the people hate their jobs, don’t work, or are in jail.

Angry

I would venture to say that the people who has a job that is ok 75% of the time is where I fall into.

The problem for most people who hate their job is that they focus on the percentage of the time that their job gets to them. The trick is to not let it get to you and when you leave for the day what ever you do don’t take it home. If you have to scream all the way home to get it out of your system then do it, if you have to pray for the people who made the day bad then do it. If it takes screaming and praying then do it.

For most of the issues that annoy us each day six months from now won’t mean a thing..

The choice to be happy is up to you, it’s not your environment that makes that decision. In the Bible Paul and Silas was in jail and yet they found happiness, you can to if you practice it.

Remember that your job (if you don’t like it) is only a means to an end and that end is to take care of yourself and/or your family.
